ANTHONY BOURDAIN ~ PARTS UNKNOWN on CNN: FORTUNATO No. 4
Renowned chef, bestselling author, and Emmy winning TV host Anthony Bourdain is a trailblazer and at times controversial commentator providing unique insights into food, current events, and cultures around the world. On Sunday, JUNE 2, 2013 CNN aired an episode documenting Tony’s visit to our friends at the Fortunato family farm in the remote Marañón River valley high in the Peruvian Andes. This is where our Fortunato No.4 cacao was discovered and continues to be grown and harvested. As one of only a few chocolatiers in the world entrusted with the chocolate made from this this precious cacao, we were excited to see and hear how the inimitable Bourdain related the extraordinary story of this truly one-of-a-kind delicacy. With stunning cinematography, edgy narration and compelling music, Parts Unknown is an incredible treat for the senses.
